Karolee Gregory has been passionate about and fascinated by the power of music since she was a young child. She has spent the last nine years handing this passion down to students of all ages through private piano lessons in her home studio in Jerome. She enjoys teaching music alongside raising her five young children. She started the Joyful Sounds Music Studio when she recognized that music is a powerful conduit for influencing the development of children of all ages, newborn and up.
She works from home as a Simply Music piano teacher and Kindermusik educator, alongside running a homeschooling household and raising their five children.
Karolee has enjoyed a deep fascination with music since she was a small child, and has seen firsthand how exposure to music enhances every area of development in her own children. She is passionate about sharing the joy of music with people of all ages.
Karolee has over 9 years experience teaching piano, became licensed to offer Simply Music piano lessons in April of 2011, and began teaching Kindermusik classes in August of 2008.
“Kindermusik with Karolee was founded after I spent some time in speech therapy with my third child. As part of his therapy, his therapist recommended a Kindermusik Our Time class. Théoden and I attended 6 weeks of fun-filled, music-filled classes and we LOVED it! From that moment on I was enthralled with the Kindermusik classroom, and two years later I decided to become an educator myself.”
Karolee believes that every child is musical, and seeks to provide a high-quality musical experience for children to enjoy with their families, promoting development in all areas of their lives.
